Hi Everyone.

Today is September 1st. Can you believe it? It is less than a month before fall. I can see it in the air. Things are definitely changing. The trees, grass and flowers look different. My tomato plants look a little scraggly and the hummingbirds are getting restless for their trip back south. We are going to miss them. We have 4 that have been feasting at our feeder all summer. My wife and I have been trying to think of a name for 2 of them that are always together. Yesterday she came up with their names, Hummy and Homey. I’m not sure how to tell them apart but they are usually together so I guess it doesn’t matter. They have kept us entertained this year and have been real fun to watch. You wonder sometimes how they know the right time to leave and go south. But, I guess I really do know. God has given them the talent. It is just like he put everything together in the beginning. It is so amazing. It is the same as when he implanted your talents inside you when you were born. And he knows just the right time and place for you to use them. Timing is his to give and it is always right. I know, in this fast paced world that we have corrupted, we don’t want to wait. It seems that Adam and Eve had the same problems which eventually caused our problems. But, that’s another story that we all should know. Now let’s rise above this and learn from it. The words of the Lord might give you some insight into this problem of patience. The last couple of months I have seen God transform a situation in my life that I had been praying about daily for a few months. Of course the timing of the answer wasn’t what I had hoped for but His timing is always perfect. It is so encouraging to see that God truly will give you the desires of your heart, if you ask him. Follow his words.
